How God Provides!

Wow, where to start?! I can definitely say that the Lord provided ALL the money needed for me to go on this missions trip! When I got the letter asking if I wanted to go, I was so thrilled! I immediately started thinking of ways that "I" could raise the money! I had several babysitting jobs and thought if I saved it all, it would be close to enough! Well God showed me that "I" wasn't going to be the one to provide for the trip, HE was, and one by one God took those jobs away! One morning when I was supposed to go babysit the lady called me an hour before I was going to leave and said that she didn't need me for the next two weeks! I broke down and told God if He wanted me to go HE would have to provide, because there was no way that I could do it! So we sent out letters and God provided all the money in JUST TWO WEEKS, from very generous people!
I am extremely excited to see what God has planned for me on this trip, and would appreciate your Prayers!

What a Mighty God we Serve!

Our team has gotten off to a great start with awesome blessings from God. We are a total of 13, and we have already purchased airline tickets for our July 23 departure. We are over halfway with the remaining support which pays for food, lodging, transportation and camp expenses. We are looking to God to finish what HE started with not only financial blessing, but spiritual blessing as well! We are extremely thankful for the people whom God has used to make this trip possible. We are truly seeing God's Hand moving in the lives both of our donors and the students who are going on this trip.
Our theme verse for the camp, and our true belief is Phil 1:21 --"For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain"
Amen and Amen

Welcome!

Welcome to our blog! This blog is designed for youth from Crooked Creek Baptist Church to share with family and friends what God is doing. In 5 1/2 weeks, six young ladies and six young men will be leaving Georgia and Texas (with an adult) to go to the Dominican Republic to conduct an English Camp. We will be teaching English and sharing God's love with Dominican teenagers ages 12-15. Please pray for us we plan classes, devotions, activities, songs, and sermons for the camp. We look forward to sharing in the coming weeks what God is doing!
